Beginner's Ceramics | Tile Decorating One-day Workshop

Deiniol Williams will be running a new workshop in 2016 at The Craft Barn in Hadfield
where students will be able to use a range of techniques to decorate
pre-glazed tiles.Using blank white tiles participants will use techniques such as onglaze painting, ceramic transfers, stencils, and screen printing to decorate their tiles. All the finished work will be taken back to my studio to be fired, and finished tiles will be available for collection approximately 2 weeks later.
N.B. The blank tiles will be standard industry 10x10cm tiles and not be my own hand-made tiles as this would make the workshop rather too expensive unfortunately!
The workshop will start at 10am and finish at 3:30pm including 1/2 hour for lunch. There will be places for up to 7 participants at £50 each which covers all materials and firing costs. Please be aware that full payment is required to guarantee your place on the course.
Plastic disposable aprons will be supplied, however, please feel free to bring your own apron - and wear suitable clothing (clay can be very messy!). Also, light refreshments and snacks will be included, however you will need to bring your own lunch.
